A Scout is not a chatbot left running. Product Scouts like Lease Scout and Sandbar Scout are ready today. Research Scouts show the steps, the search area and the most they can cost before you approve.
Every research step is quoted before it runs (up to 18 credits). The default per-Scout maximum is 25 credits ($0.25); you can raise or lower it in Settings → Spending.
Choose which of your data a Scout may read: saved places (about 5 km), trip plans, your field log. Nothing else is touched, and photo pixels are never sent.
Results say what was verified, what was inferred and what you still need to check — with the official links. Lease Scout never treats ownership as permission.
